About the Tuckamore Festival

Tuckamore Festival

Since 2001, the Tuckamore Festival has offered an inspiring and intensive chamber music program for emerging musicians in historic St. John's, Newfoundland. For two weeks, talented pianists and string players perform and attend numerous concerts as well as participate in workshops, open rehearsals, private lessons, coachings, and master classes.

In previous years, the Festival has featured guest artists such as Richard Raymond, the Avalon String Quartet, and the Jupiter String Quartet. Participants in the Young Artist Program have included winners of nation competitions and students from some of North America's finest music schools including The Juilliard School, Glenn Gould School, Rice University, SUNY Stony Brook, University of Toronto and McGill University.

Don't miss this season's series: extraordinary performances packed with exuberance, passion and great beauty that are sure to move and inspire you.
