Welcome to the 13th season of the Tuckamore Festival! Since 2001, our goal has been to offer two weeks of inspired, powerful, and diverse concerts as well as numerous free of charge open rehearsals, masterclasses, lunch time performances and children's concerts. Each year we try to introduce wonderful artists new to St John's and offer something a bit different in terms of programming from previous years. In addition to our highly respected Young Artist Program for emerging string players and pianists, we've recently introduced a Young Composers Program under the mentorship of award-winning composer Andrew Staniland. We're also venturing downtown to the Rocket Room on Water Street for some fabulous world music with Dinuk Wijeratne and heading out of St John's for some chamber music in the beautiful settings of Admiral's Cove and Brigus. With guest artists like Marc Andre Hamelin, James Campbell, the Gryphon Trio and the Afiara String Quartet we know it's going to be a wonderful, magical two weeks! Please join us!
